Golf Tournament to Raise Money for the Foundation for Winter Park Tech, Inc.

WHERE: The 2009 Annual Fundraising 9 Hole Golf Tournament to benefit the Foundation for Winter Park Tech, Inc., will be held on Saturday, October 24 at the Winter Pines Golf Club at 2:30. Bar-B-Q Dinner, Silent Auction and Raffle to follow the tournament.
WHY: Many of the students who attend Winter Park Tech are recently unemployed, have families to care for, and are trying to make a better life for themselves. The Foundation will use the proceeds from this event
provide tuition assistance, textbooks, uniforms, testing fees and tools so these students can begin to “Build a Better Future.” With help from the Foundation, students are able to complete their studies at Winter Park Tech
and pursue opportunities for success in their professional and personal lives.
WHO: Winter Park Tech (WPT) a 501 (c)(3) entity is recognized in Central Florida as the leading technical training center for career and technical education. WPT provides a “High-Tech, High Touch” educational
environment, state-of-the-art equipment and an exceptional instructional staff where students develop the industry standard technical and soft skills needed in today’s workplace.
